In 1956, the predecessor factory of the company was found (Guangzhou Metal Structure Factory).
In 1973, the first set of elevator is produced and installed in the regrigeration house of Liuzhou Food Corporation.
In 1976, Guangzhou Elevator Works was established, which was listed as one of the eight key elevator manufacturers deployed by the state.
In 1982, Guangzhou Elevator Industry Coporation was founded, introducing leading technologies of elevator industry from Hitachi, Japan.
